Kingdom Character

The character of the king should reflect in the kingdom. We should have a personality like King Jesus.

Ephesians 2:10

For we are God’s masterpiece, created in the Messiah Jesus to perform good actions that God prepared long ago to be our way of life.

Matthew 7:12

So in everything, do to others what you would have them do to you, for this sums up the Law and the Prophets.

Matthew 7:1-2

Do not judge, or you too will be judged. For in the same way as you judge others, you will be judged, and with the measure you use, it will be measured to you.

2 Corinthians 4:16

That's why we are not discouraged. No, even if outwardly we are wearing out, inwardly we are being renewed each and every day.

Hebrews 10:15-17

The Holy Spirit also assures us of this, for he said: "This is the covenant that I will make with them after those days, declares the Lord: I will put my laws in their hearts and will write them on their minds, and I will never again remember their sins and their lawless deeds."

1 Samuel 16:7

1 John 2:20-27

You have an anointing from the Holy One and know all things. I have not written to you because you do not know the truth, but because you do know it and because lies don't come from truth. Who is a liar but the person who denies that Jesus is the Messiah? The person who denies the Father and the Son is an antichrist. No one who denies the Son has the Father. The person who acknowledges the Son also has the Father.

What you have heard from the beginning must abide in you. If what you have heard from the beginning abides in you, you will also abide in the Son and in the Father. The message that the Son himself declared to us is eternal life. I have written to you about those who are trying to deceive you. The anointing you received from God abides in you, and you do not need anyone to teach you this. Instead, because God's anointing teaches you about everything and is true and not a lie, abide in him, as he taught you to do.

1 Corinthians 2:12-16

Now, we have not received the spirit of the world but the Spirit who comes from God, so that we can understand the things that were freely given to us by God. We don't speak about these things with words taught us by human wisdom, but with words taught by the Spirit, as we explain spiritual things to spiritual people. A person who isn't spiritual doesn't accept the things of God's Spirit, for they are nonsense to him. He can't understand them because they are spiritually evaluated.

Ephesians 5:18-20

Stop getting drunk with wine, which leads to wild living, but keep on being filled with the Spirit. Then you will recite to one another psalms, hymns, and spiritual songs; you will sing and make music to the Lord with your hearts; you will consistently give thanks to God the Father for everything in the name of our Lord Jesus, the Messiah.

Ephesians 1:15-19

For this reason, ever since I heard about your faith in the Lord Jesus and your love for all God’s people, I have not stopped giving thanks for you, remembering you in my prayers. I keep asking that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the glorious Father, may give you the Spirit of wisdom and revelation, so that you may know him better. I pray that the eyes of your heart may be enlightened in order that you may know the hope to which he has called you, the riches of his glorious inheritance in his holy people, and his incomparably great power for us who believe. That power is the same as the mighty strength.

Philippians 4:13

I can do all things through him who strengthens me.

so that your faith would not be based on human wisdom but on God's power.

My message and my preaching were not accompanied by clever, wise words, but by a display of the Spirit's power.

Ephesians 6:10

Finally, be strong in the Lord, relying on his mighty strength.

2 Corinthians 3:14-17

However, their minds were hardened, for to this day the same veil is still there when they read the old covenant. Only in union with the Messiah is that veil removed. Yet even to this day, when Moses is read, a veil covers their hearts. But whenever a person turns to the Lord, the veil is removed. Now the Lord is the Spirit, and where the Lord's Spirit is, there is freedom.
